A New Friend

Jonah has a new buddy! Mac moved here (with his parents) in May. His daddy is a new member of the staff at our church and his mama is just plain cool! We like Mac and his family. 

Mac also has a brand new baby brother at home (born on my birthday, no less).

So, we had him over to play one day to give his mama a chance to catch up on some rest.

These two played really well together. They are both sweet boys. The only upset was the one time that Jonah thought Mac needed a lift (he tried to carry him across the room). Both boys ended up on the floor and were crying.

Five for Friday

I wanted to make a list today. I don't feel like making a long list. So, here are five things I am thankful for today.

*my fabulous childhood

(the more life I live, the more thankful I become for the life I live)

*air conditioning

*this cute (sometimes mischievous) baby boy

*good health

Do You Need Your Dryer Cleaned?

Do you need your dryer cleaned? I didn't think I did, but Jonah sure did it for me anyway!

He was so cute. Then, he was very obedient to put the scrubber BACK IN THE SINK WHERE IT BELONGS. (I don't know how he managed to pull it off of the countertop in the first place)

Dream Home Revisited

The other day I posted pictures of rooms I'd love to have in my Dream Home. Today I'm adding a few more. Enjoy. And happy dreaming!

This would be the perfect guest bedroom! I think of Anne Shirley and her love of the "spare bedroom"...Diana's Aunt Josephine promised to put her in the sparest of spare rooms one day!

Tour My Dream Home

Hey there!

We might be out for a few days, making memories and having adventures, so I thought I'd post some pictures I've found on the lovely world wide web. These are all things, or ideas of things I'd LOVE to have in my Dream Home. 

Now, remember, the key word here is DREAM. I know that having ALL these things under the same roof would take more money than I'll ever have/be willing to spend. So, that being said...here is the outside:

Mid-Morning Meltdown

We sure do love waking up with this cutie! He gets us smiling every morning.

This morning he was sitting with me while he ate his breakfast. 

Then, he asked for a fruit snack. He LOVES his fruit snacks. I usually don't give him any in the morning. (I try to limit him to one a day and only after lunch/nap).

Well, today it was really easy to answer him...we are out. (I might not buy any more for a while...he's kind of addicted)

Anyway, he didn't like my answer:
